Every Riyaa is more than just fabric; it is a piece of Maldivian engineering. We honor the traditional techniques of our ancestors to ensure each sail carries the soul of the islands. Authentic Sail Fabric: We select durable, natural-toned canvas that captures the sun and wind, designed to age beautifully and bring a raw, organic texture to your space. Traditional 18-Inch Interval Stitching: True to the original Dhoni sails, our fabric is reinforced with hand-stitched vertical intervals every 18 inches. This ensures structural strength and creates the iconic rhythmic pattern of a traditional sail. Expert Edge & Bolt Roping: To provide the sail with its distinct shape and weight, we integrate heavy-duty edge roping. This includes traditional bolt roping along the borders, giving the piece its rugged, nautical character. Locally Tailored by Craftsmen: Each Riyaa is individually tailored in the Maldives by local artisans.
