Saamee - an old soul with a young heart, having had years of experience as a fisherman, Saamee is a master storyteller, known for his skills in cutting and filleting fish.

Description
Learn local fish preparation techniques from master fisherman Saamee, who will guide you through proper cutting and filleting methods used in the Maldives. This practical workshop introduces techniques for handling different types of fish, with a focus on minimizing waste and using every part of the catch. Participants will also gain insight into the cultural importance of fish preparation and its role in daily island life - from ocean to table.
